The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania is an autonomous legal entity of public utility, which includes chartered accountants and certified accountants, as well as accounting expertise companies and accounting companies as laid down by law. By means of a delegation from the public authority, CECCAR grants and withdraws the right to practise the profession of chartered accountant and certified accountant and has the right to check the competence and morality of its members and the quality of the services rendered by them.
The mission of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (“CAFR”) is to build, on a solid foundation, the identity and public recognition of the profession of financial auditor in Romania; its primary objective is the sustained development of the profession and its strengthening with Auditing Standards and the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct in financial audit, by adopting in full the International Standards and the Code of Ethics of IFAC, allowing financial auditors, who are members of CAFR, to provide high quality financial audit services, in the public interest, in general, and in the interest of the business community, in particular.
The Association of Students in Accounting and Management Information Systems emerged in April of 2002 as a necessity in building a bridge of communication between the students and the Academy of Economic Studies, and for facilitating the access to useful information on obtaining internships, jobs, scholarships and other opportunities.
